HELP! tail light problem!!!
okay, to make a long long story short.
i forgot to plug in my turn signal bulbs into my lens after i painted them. so i just rested them in the splash guard. that was fine, until i hit a curb.
this collision moved my front bumper cover out of place and along with that the splash guard. so that meant the bulbs were dragging on the ground.
they popped and eventually the whole wire harness broke off. so now all i have left is some wire.
well i was driving down the freeway when this happened and my interior lights turned off. the only thing that was on was my radio lights and my clock. my headlights were still on, but my tail lights and everything else was off.
i need to know what to do to fix this problem, i have a feeling it's rooted in the turn signal problem. but any help would be GREATLY appreciated! TIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the run down...
tail lights don't work
front turn signals don't work
gauge lights won't work

hmm i kinda had the same problem.. i had lost the screw when replacing bulbs in my turn signals.. so i drove slowly to autozone to see if they had it.. but they didnt
well needless to say i forgot about it and when leaving the parking lot a lil fast.. i crushed the whole signal light lens and it went flying behind me
fortunately all it did was mess up the turn signal on the right... so when i used the left blinker its normal.. but when i used the right blinker it would go 4x as fast or so
i just compromised by getting a 4x blinker
i never could find out wat was wrong cuz i still had all my wires and bulbs there

you probably have shorted out the fuse. your rear taillights and interior lights are the same fuse, so check out your fuse box, and if you haven't yet replaced those broken connections, the least you could do is stick some electrical tape on it, so that another short doesn't happen again. otherwise, you'll just continue to replace fuses... hope that helps.

hey thanks a lot guys, i checked the fuses and they appear to be fine, but i'll replace them and see what happens.
