Default Is $1200 too low for the del slow?

My friend and I are selling his 1995 del sol with the d16z6 for $1200... It's got plenty of rust and the driver and rear window don't always work lol.. and it's not running. I know it needs a dizzy and most likely timing.. Is that too much or too little?

ill give you 50 bux and ill pay the shipping over here. Or we can opt for option 2. Where i give you about 100 bux and you can light that mother on fire and record it and send me the video.. LoL.

Just kidding. On the real though i wouldnt know cuz i hate del sol's. Bump for someone else's price opinion.

too much? I got a 95 ej1 with 140k miles on it for $1300 and it had nothing wrong with it other than an ugly *** smurf color. Post it for that and see if test the waters. haha. see if people will pay it. When they come to look at it make sure its clean as fuhhhh.

so 1200 for a del sol shell? way too much.
so far i have:
-del sol with moderate to heavy rust
-back window regulator on the fritz
-unknown mileage
-title condition unknown
-head will at least need to be machined
-new dizzy needed
-new timing belt needed
-new water pump needed

a guy i know sold a em1 shell for less than 500.
it needed:
-a b-series vtec head
-wheels

just part it out and trash the chassis... 500 for the motor and you can get 200 or trashing the shell. maybe sell the interior parts. and sell the tranny for 200. you might get 900-1000 for it

I'm just thinking about getting a b20 instead of building up my z6. just get the I/H/E on the b20 and flywheel and I'll be set for awhile

1200 for a stock running eg hatch is a fair price specially if its 5 speed... where i live at a d series engine and tranny wont even get close to 500,500 is actually taxing when you can get a b18b1 with the tranny for about 700!!!!.. your better off getting the engine fixed and sell it on ebay along with other parts from the car... a car with rust will be harder to sell and the stripped shell you can sell it for metal lol
