should i buy this 95 del sol with 235K miles
Thers a guy thats selling a 95 del sol with the originall d16z6 with 235,000 miles on it.has a new clutch and new timing belt has working ac,ps everything works only mod is coilovers thats it..is the car woth 2800 eventhough it has all those miles? Also car was owned by a 57 year old from brandnew from the dealer till december of 2010 till this guy bought it.

That's a bit much for that high of mileage. My 95 daily driver has 171k miles and I'm the 3rd owner. IMO, your potential sol is not worth more than 2k.
Don't worry about negative comments about sols being a "girl" car.

That is a tad high for a Si model with that mileage. Haggle on the price.
Only bi-curious guys think Del Sols are chick cars. Hahaha. haters will hate. I owned one before and they are nice if they are customized properly.

also by that logic wrx's are for lesbians. tell that to travis.
i got both of mine for 1800 with 180k and 188k. one no rust one has quarter panel rust.
id say 2k tops.

Lol im a guy and i dnt think ther girly cars at all ther nice little cars the guy wanted 3300 and i talked him down to 2800 i cant post pics yet couse of my 15 day trail thing lol..today i found a 94 del sol si with a doch vtec motor with 208,000 miles it has coilovers and some nice wheels and its my favorite color white guy got it painted 1 year ago only cons is that the passenger arm rest is ripped and the driver side is also ripped..guy wants 3000 what do you guys think? All i want is a clean del sol already lowered with a nice set of wheels..im use it as my commuter dd couse my 06 altima ser is a gas hog lol

And also this is gonna be my first honda well i had 2004 tsx then i had a 2005 srt4 to my current car a 2006 altima ser..so yeah its gonna my first real honda lol.and what got me into liking del sols was my boy randy en he has a rhd del sol with a trans top he came out in the magazine .he was at weak fest and alot of the car shows in frisco..idk if he is still a member of plus one..but yea hes sol has made me love them..and he also let me drive it 
...

Although it seems in the praries if you don't drive a truck you're pretty much labelled one.... good old cow country.... moving on.
Obviously I say get it as cheap as you can, but if everything checks out underneith and it's exactly what you want, then $2800 isn't too much. IMO.
What matters is if it is worth it to YOU.
I like the car. The color, the mesh wheels and all.

if it has the B16 in it and no rust its worth mid 2's. Im confused as to weather it has the D16 you first mentioned or the B you showed the picture of. If the D motor I wouldnt pay more than 2k for it. Del sols are great city cars. Had one in NYC for a couple years and loved it for that. Didnt really like it on the track, squirly as hell without doing a lot of frame reinforcement. Went back to a hatch.

im talking about 2 cars the white one is the one with the b16 and thers the black one that i mentioned that has 235k im debating between this 2 or unless some one in this forum has one in northern cali for sale with some clan mods an smogged? if some one does email me at mendoza2crazy@yahoo.com thanks guys for the input

3 Large for the white Sol and a B series swap is a decent deal. As far as anyone trying to convince you that a Del Sol is a "Girl's car" I have heard the same thing about my 2nd Gen MR2 and my turbo Jetta's along with my Sol. The funny thing is they always come from single guys and I always have a fine chick in my passenger seat.

i paid $500 for my sol SI. Just needs a new fender and hood and bumper. Only 180xxx when i picked it up. pretty happy with mine. most people around here dont have them and hard to find too. James

In Atlanta, most good del sols go for $2500-4500. That's what I experienced when searching. I guess it depends on where ya from. Never seen one go as cheap as some folks are saying unless they are beat to hell. Lol
