Default what type of heads can i swap in a 98 hx vtec type e?

ive been looking around and im thinking of swapping my head out, can i swap a h22 head on it? or a b series? sorry if thats retarted i just have no idea which is why im asking- and if not , what heads can i sawp onto it ?

swap the whole motor. no head is worth swapping

tranny too, hx transmission are prone to break and they are really not meant for speed at all. even worse than y7 tranny

Do an engine swap, most definitely. As most will say, swap to a B series (B16, B18, B20) motor, it'll be one of the better investments in your vehicle.

Otherwise, utilize the search on this website, do your research, and make moves!

Why don't you just swap in that LX head from that LX engine you have? Then send me your HX head?

ok bro all these guys r gonna tell u is to swap to a b series blah blah...u can put ANY
d series head on there, some with differemt wiring/ecu/studs ect.. but it will work. sine
u are already obd-2 i'd look for a y8 head and an ex tranny. you will notice a hell of
a difference in the shorter gears and the hp of 127 compared to 115. gl with ur build
sohc ftw bro!

Do a b series swap. D series is good but you can get your moneys worth in B series.

haha thanks for the info and opinions guys, im not exactly sure im gonna have to figure out what i really want to commit to,m and as for my hx head lol thats be stupid to swap an lx head on my hx lol
