Default Turbo GSR dying after WOT

Hey hondatech, I have a 97 spec jdm gsr motor with a precision 60-1 turbo .63ar. Revhard manifold with a turbosmart 38mm wastegate. Injectors are precision 750cc, walbro 255 fuel pump, skunk 2 IT, and 68mm TB. Now the car only has a street tune on crome, my hondata had issues and I had to send it back, so it'll still be a couple weeks before my tuner can tune with it.

The problem is the car dying after WOT acceleration, i'm keeping the revs under 6500rpm, the A/F is totally fat around 10-11 when wide open, then after I start to slow down, the A/F goes totally lean, the throttle is unresponsive, engine chugs and hesistates and when I engage the clutch the car well just quit. It well start up with no problems right after this.

Sometimes when the car idles it well kinda surge up down a couple hundred rpm's, sometimes it'll idle with a lean pop, around 13-14 and half the time it idles great, 1000rpm and 12A/F. My tuner had RC 750's for me to try in there to see if the car still has the same problem, which it does, my question is does anyone know what could be causing this and why? And yeah, I have considered it may be the tuner, but he is familiar with turbo hondas. Any help or suggestions greatly appreicated, thanks.

sounds like you need to adjust the battery offset for the idle

Bump on any more possibilities what it can be guys? It dosnt just crap out WOT, it does it after it gets past a certain RPM, around 6000, its kinda annoying driving a turbo integra i spent thousands on, but having to treat it like a normal car without getting on it.. BTW the plugs are NGK's 7's gapped to .28, sound right? Colder plugs possibly? Thanks.

i have had this ongoing problem for months. you need to adjust the idle screw on the throttle body. I turned mine to the left a few turns and it worked just fine. Play with it until you find what works for you.

You asked for suggestions so here's one, stop going WOT. Take it easy on your car, it is a street tune as you said so...
