My car is throwing code 22 which i researched and found out to be the Vtec solenoid. what could be the problem? wiring or the seal or what?
tap into the solenoid and see if theres any wire loose, had the same issue on my car a week ago, same code, it turned out that the wire was loose...follow the instructions in the helm manual on the faq page hint hint
take the solenoid off and clean the screen it could be clogged. if thats not the case you could replace I don't think those solenoids are too expensive. (recycle yard)

Heres a picture of the Vtec solenoid. The screen is part of the solenoid not the gasket.

you just clean the screen if its clean then you probably have a electronic problem.

very very helpful.. thank you.. its the vtec pressure switch cause i looked today and the female wire has power then when i plug it in the wire splice point has no power.. so it kills the circuit.. but when vtec is working will that fix my idle jumping issue? cause it does that cause its in limp mode right?

there is 2 plugs that fit the pressure switch one that has a blue/red and a solid black.. the one that was on it to begin with is a blue and a brown/black for the ground. i plugged in the one with the blue/red and it turned on the driver side radiator fan.. the vtec is run through to the solid blue wired one.. would it be ok to splice into the blue/red when i rewire and use that plug? that way my fan will work cause the passenger side fan doesnt work either

Stop! This car is going to end up on fire! I suggest getting a wire diagram and then repair accordingly. The VTEC oil pressure switch is a switch to ground. Its activated by oil pressure. Have you checked your oil level? But dont just start "jumpering stuff" to see what happens. Recipe for disaster.
