Default o2 sensor cel

While driving the other day I noticed the car "jumping" for lack of a better technical term. Then the CEL comes on and I check the code and it was code 61.

The 61 code is the primary oxygen sensor. Replaced with a bosch oem exact fit sensor and reset ECU.

Took the car for a test drive the CEL has not come back on YET but the car is still "jumping"

Was the CEL on prior to your experience of the car "jumping"?

I noticed the jumping before the engline light came on.

It could have been two different problems. Sounds like you fixed the one problem, which was the oxygen sensor, hence why you don't have any CEL's anymore. Have you noticed an increase in gas mileage since you repaired the primary oxygen sensor?

The "jumping" you're describing is hard to diagnose without being able to feel or hear anything, maybe someone else on here has experienced this, I don't know. Try video recording this when it happens and posting it up for us.

Goodluck.
