Hatchback bumper compatibility
i cant see myself paying 600 bucks for a rear bumper setup just bc shipping is a bitch
not to mention... finding these parts are damn near impossible
do the 88 89 hb rear bumpers and side mouldings fit a 91 hatchback?

Yes, for the bumper you just need to use the matching impact beam/bumper support. Moldings are a straight one for one replacement.

call up a jdm importer or fly to japan and pick one up yourself...i did the dirty work for you by giving you the link in virginia and could care less if its jdm or not...most people on here refer to their LHD USDM civics as being EF's and it aint my job to distinguish the difference
well thats where mr toad screwed up by not adjusting the thread title properly to include that the specific was an ef9 like my title originally stated. ps that was Pennsylvania not VA
im not looking for where to find one.... all i asked was if the 88 89 would fit since i wasnt going to pay a grip just to have the pinstripe

that link i also sent you was off of the virginia classifieds not pennsylvania and the seller probably made a mistake in listing the exact location.
I slapped on a frount and rear bumper from a 93 civic (needs some finishing touches) with a little work and finess they don't look too bad. 50$ a pop at the yard, give it a shot!
