I have a 1998 gsr swaped ek ran fine just died one day when it was idling in the street. What i have done it trouble shoot it i have replaced the hactacular harness that came in the car with a ex harness that was converted to work with the gsr. 3 ecus i am running obd2a-obd1 jumper and tried a chipped p30, p72, and a obd2a P2P n change and also tried 3 obd1 b-series vtec distys. Sanded and checked all grounds for good continuity. I am at a loss I just don't know what to do besides throw a molotov cocktail at it. Only thing and i'm not 100% sure if it effects spark is the main fuel relay. I'm not new to hondas just never post here just had to suck it up and ask for help.

Bump!? I have checked fuses and still nothing any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

is it cranking at all? no spark? no fuel? both?

 

Cranks fine timing is intact and is getting fuel just no spark.

try another distributor , surely its the problem if theres no spark.

 

Two were from running b-sieries one from lsv and one from another running gsr

 

i would go back with fuses..check the blk/ylw wire going to the dizzy with the car switched on to see if it has continuity

 

So i rechecked the fuses and nothing? all are fine and now i'm back to square one.

 

check your ignition coil. i had the same problem

 

is the black and yellow wire hot?

 

yes it is getting 12v power and i have tested the distys and the coils are fine.

 

tried different spark plugs? i had a car before i thought wasnt getting spark but it was. just had to change spark plugs

 

There is no spark coming from the disty using a spark tester.

 

I bet if you try a diffrent dizzy it will work the ignition coil maybe went bad happened to me before. so get a coil pack or diffrent dizzy

 

Plz read thoroughly i know all 3 Distys are good they will start other cars not talking **** just keep getting told that and i have tested them with my volt meter.

 

So dist is good but no spark right?
And its getting fuel and its cranking?
Have you checked all the grounds?

 

same thing. dont understand it but after replacing plugs fired right up

 

Ok so replaced my disty jumper and got spark still no fire checked fuel not getting fuel so ends up I'm out of fuel, gas gauge stopped working cuz of a loose harness for that side of the cluster FAIL... DAM gremilins all this hit at once!
