konig wheels are just another replica wheel company, i mean if it takes a couple years just to save up for a set of volks then to each his own (not hat'n), how much are you wanting to spend, are volks too much?

this is only a decision you can make not us. personally for me i have rota track r wheels on my car. one reason and one reason only, i like the way they look, i honestly cant see myself spending 1000+$ on wheels. id rather put it into my motor and go faster, but to each his own im not hatin on those who do.

I'm not knocking your love of the "real" wheels, but I don't think it makes sense for most people to buy things like volks. They do look sexy, but for a daily driven car, I would never want to be rolling around on over $1000 worry about curb rash or theft when some $400 rotas look pretty much the same and do the trick nicely. Maybe for a dedicated use car or something, but for the average "tuner," the money is probably better spent elsewhere in my opinion.

@ the OP, Konig wheels are just fine, go for it if you like the way they look.

well thats what they bought back in the really 90's ppl like us that didnt make much money they believed in buying mugen, spoon and volks etc,. they make fun of ppl like us that buy rota's and off brand parts and have fully built cars in 3 months instead of 3 years of building, well i dont mind building my car that long, im happy to say ill have a set of volks bought really soon, and im where i live ppl know who i am and wont steal from me

I just wanted to know if they are cheaply made or not. the wheels i like are the silver verse, dont really like the color but they are only $65 and i like the 10 spoke. just didnt know if I went and spent $260 if it would in the long run be a waste.

My KONIG Tuners (replica Work RS Beta one piece, made in the early 90's and been in the family since 1993) are stamped ROTA on the back, so are KONIGS really a little better than ROTAS?

To the OP: Without getting into a debate on real vs fake rims, Konig has been around for ages so you shouldn't have any worries buying their products. Having said that, if you like that design then go for it. My personal opinion on those specific rims: They look tasteful, they don't scream LOOK AT ME but they are nice simple design. I say go for it.

My ex had konigs, she bent one. Now that sounds like i'm knocking them but i am not at all. The amazing thing is that it only BENT, it' didn't crack or break. In PA the potholes are hellacious.
