Who has 96-97 DOHC Sol, 99-00 Civic Si
I have a stock 1996 Del Sol DOHC Vtec 1.6L OEM from the factory.
My question is, does anyone have REAL EXPERIENCE interchanging intakes from a 96-97 Del Sol DOHC with a 99-00 Civic Si ??
If you do, what are the problems or are there any problems at all? Which intake did you try on both cars? etc.....
I am looking at the AEM V2 part number 24-6017C, for the 99-00 Civic Si to put onto my car.
On the AEM website there are only shorts rams for ALL 96-97 Sol's, and CAI/short ram for 94-95 Sol's. Of course the 99-00 Civic Si gets them all.
Please remember I am not talking about SOHC cars.
Thanks for all your help in advance.
PEACE

The 99-00 Intake won't work because of different engine bays. AEM DOES in fact make the V2 for all 93-97 Del sols. I'd post the link i found them on, but the price is in Euros and you'd have to send payment via bank transfer if you bought from them. Lol

Yeah, I found something in Europe also. I wonder how its fits there and everything but not here.
AEM Website : http://www.aemintakes.com/search/pro...?Prod=24-6017C
crazy thing, look what it says about ... TUV Approved (Europe): No
Then Euro Site : http://www.aem-power.co.uk/aem_v2_induction.htm
99-00 CIVIC 1.6 VTI COUPE, M/T Only 24-6017C
93-96 CRX/DEL-SOL 1.6 VTI 24-6017
Interesting, I call some crazy BS , or AEM just does not keep there site up to date.
The Euro site even has the same part number as the US part.
Still looking for anyone who has actually done it, or who has a buddy who has either or and opposite of you of course : )

Yes I am still searching and hoping to hear from someone with real V2 experience or seen a friend with one.
I find it hard to believe that the website I found above would be the only plase in the world that had this. I am throwing the BS flag on that one, and waiting for someone who has one here.
