Whats good H-tech a few months back i got a 97 ek coupe with a obd1 d15b7 in it and after a day or two my car started having idling problem and kept cutting off then out of no where my ecu starts to smoke and i was told to get another harness so i went thru hell to get a 96-98 ex harness and plugged everything up changed the injectors from obd1 to obd2 and go to start the car all the lights come on except the check engine light, the main relay, fuel pump and the motor doesn't crank.....if anyone has had this problem i need to no what could cause it asap HELPPPPPPPP

always check and re-check all 3 grounds. when you say "ex harness" are you talking about from a 5th gen (92-95, obd1) or 6th gen (96-00 obd2a/b)? im assuming you went with the 6th gen since you said you changed the injectors, but if so, this brings another question do you have the right obd harness?

 

i have a 96-98 ex harness and when i turn the key normally a cel light would come on then go off and the fuel pump would make a wine sound and it doenst even do that

 

the dash lights dont come on either? you have a bad ground somewhere, either the tranny ground or the starter ground is bad. the one on the valve cover may be bad also, but would be the last one i check. do you have a good battery?

 

i used my boys battery cause mines was dead but the headlight and dash lights come on i jus dont hear the fuel pump kick in and my cel light dont come on

have you checked your grounds? the car wont do anything with poor ground connections.

 

checked ground check fuses checked relay all are good but still nothing

 

will a integra alternator fit a d15b7
