How much lag to excpect?
Hey guys I am torn between 2 turbo's and would like some input to help decide which one to go with. First I will start with my setup. I have a AEBS sleeved b18c1 83mm bore 11.1 comp stock port gsr head with superech valvetrain. SLS prototype turbo mani w/ 3in downpipe edelbrock victor x intake ported to 76mm tb. The turbo's i am looking at are a precision 6262 or 6765 billet wheel. I would like the bigger turbo to make more power on less boost but i am worried about having too much lag. So if someone could chim in and let me know roughly where i could excpect to spool at with either turbo I would greatly appreciate it!!
whats are the goals of your car?
daily driver?
track only?
what class are you running in?
im no expert in fact im building a sfwd setup ,im going with the bw 372r

I know this is like comparing apples to oranges, but i have a s366XL with the 1.25 a/r housing on a car that sees a pretty fair amount of street time, and honestly it serves its purpose around town. If I ever wanna clean the cobwebs out of it, it'll be in higher rpm's anyway, so the lag isn't really an issue for me.. If it were me, i'd go with the 6765 but either turbo will be more than enough for you I'm sure
dont have a specific power goal in mind but if i had to set one it would be at the very very end of the 6262. I like having fun on the highways with it and take it to the track ocasionally. Can anyone guess roughly what i will be spooling at with the 6765?
I have a 6765 and I have no lag worrys it gets full boost in 3rd gear around 5900rpm. But at the track I don't think after shifting my rpms drop less then 7000rpm. So for me it's a great turbo.
