Alright guys and gals, I got a 94 EJ1 or Civic Ex coupe and I'm looking forward to purchasing some new set of rims. The thing is that I want 16" rims and the color has to be either black or bronze. The wheel size is going to be somewhere in 2??/50/16. Why 50s? It is a every day driven car and I want it to last for a while. I maybe looking foward to spending from the least to greatest; $500 - $700. The problem is that I done some research and can't come to a conclusion yet. I just need ya's opinion. I need to get rid of my 17" rims and it's sometimes uncomfortable for a daily driven car.

No 15" rims......I think they look too small and I'm not a racer by the way.

500-700 just for wheels? or wheels and tires?
i would do 205-45-16 not 50 on a 16 on a civic.

 

I mean probably wheels and tires. Maybe so if they come up around that price but I doubt it.

 

For that price probably rotas or drags. Or some OEM wheels, I know SI wheels are a 16.

 

I dont think you could even do rotas for that price, unless you bbought them used or new with crappy tires.

 

I'm buying a 4 set of new 16" Motegi's at $107 a pop with a Yokohama 205/45/16 package at $75 a pop. I **** my pants when i found it.

Used Rotas= less than 500

 

Rotas are good but I don't know. I kind of don't like COPY CATS. I mean it's good that they are made for a budget type of rims but it's just not me.

 

than keep saving and rock the 17s for now.

 

Beggars can't be choosers. If you don't want Rotas then you're going to have to at least double your budget.

 

I'll see what's up. I'm looking on wheelfire.com right now and some deals are pretty good for some good looking rim set with tires.

 

You aren't getting real deal wheels for $700, not unless you find a crazy deal or they are some circa 1993 ugly *** mugens and the owner is smoking crack. If it's your daily driver like you said, get rotas. Trust me, i live in PA a.k.a. pothole city and I cringe when i hit even the smallest bump at almost $400 a wheel (if the tire doesn't get damaged too)

bronze rota grids will = WIN on your motor , and go 205/45 on 16 inch wheels , they will look to big with a 50 profile , itr rims would also look amazing but your not using 5 stud set up
