Default Buying GSR block spun bearing

details: $120, 125k and comes with pistions/rods.

Going to look at it tomorrow with a buddy, its for his build. Did some research and still came up a little short. Asked seller if the cylinder walls were in good shape, along with pistons, and rods. He said the walls were ok and it happened on his way to work from oil starvation. He also mentioned the starvation came from the oil pan because of a bad gasket. What I got so far is if the crankshaft isnt in to bad of shape, we could use oversized bearings after its redone at shop. Or look for a mint GSR crank and GSR head, use OEM bearings, replace oil pump, water pump and do the tbelt and tensioner while its down. What else will need to be replaced and what do I have to look for tomorrow when I go look at the block.

you can line hone the block to get any bearing clearance you want. if the damage is just on the cap side and it's minor the block is fine. you might be doing a .010 overbore if the walls took low oil damage though. sounds like a great deal for a builder though. your money will just be in machine work.
