white smoke problems????
Hey everyone, I really need some help. I just bought a 99 civic si turbo that is built. (block) Every morning when I start up the car, there isn't any white smoke coming out of the exhaust for the first minute, but then it smokes very bad. Its like a jet stream of white smoke. But when I drive the car for 15 minutes, the jet stream white smoke goes away. There isn't any leak between the head and block. I took it in to a performance shop, to do a leak down test. Everything came back positive, motor's healthy but running very lean, thats what they told me. My buddy and I did a compression test on all cylinder and its all at 185psi on all cylinder. please, please, please help me out, I don't want to waste anymore time, and figure whats the true problem. Could be the head gasket?

only checks
-check your oil if it looks milky you got a head gasket problem
-if your car gets to operating temp then starts to smoke you may have a cracked head
-bypass all the hoses that run to the manifold
-the gasket on the intake manifold
-your manifold could be cracked...possible
