it's not necessary, but it won't cause bad gas mileage. something else is at fault for that

stock injectors?

I put a walbro in my hatch with a udsm b18b (stock injectors) and notice no difference in gas mileage.

high flow pumps are used mostly for turbo setups. do you smell gas when your driving or what?

yeah, the pump is louder than stock when it primes for me but this is normal. I can't notice any difference in noise when driving.

Hmm, if you have no vac lines, then your fuel pressure regulator isnt working.

What vac lines did you say are missing? Because everything fuel related is there.

MAP sensor is there, it looks like you have an obd1 throttle body, so the MAP sensor is located ON the throttle body.

Every other vac line is NOT needed. the purge solenoid is not needed, neither is the charcoal canister line.

if its obd1 how come i have the (amp looking) resistor box still?
do you have to jump a wire to see what check codes your throwing when this swap is done?

The the intake manifold could be obd1, and the fuel injectors could be obd0.

What ECU are you using?

Get the fuel injector wiring shield (plastic piece that holds the wires and bolts to the fuel rail) and tape up then rest of the wires.

By the way, our cars look similar, based on your avatar.
