It won't be popular with that kind of plan no. The Insight of which you speak was not a big seller either, which doesn't help. If Honda sells a ton of CRZ and doesn't change the design every 2 years I think the swap will be huge in 5 years or so

Yeah I highly doubt it's going to be popular. Just like the fact how the K20 Swap in civics, I remember .. when that came out a couple of years back that **** wasn't that popular right now everyones doing that swap.
couple years back lol, k swaps have been around for the better part of 7 years. Where have you been, reason why people stayed away from them was the price to do the swap. Even now its still expensive but lots of aftermarket support. Thats why there popular now, that and there killer engines. And the CRZ idea is stupid sounds like you just wanted to make a post to try and get some friends on here or something. This whole CRZ thread is a joke it needs to be takin off.

The weights are about the same but alot of the CRZ's weight would come from the hybrid stuff which wouldn't be used in this kind of swap.
Good deal.This looks interesting.
I dunno about 'lots of times'. It not something the average joe can do or even have done. Sure if you live in tampa you can pay an *** raping to have it done. But not many folks are going to buy a brand new crz and completely rape it for a k20. Its certainly nothing like putting a B in an ek...
Besides, as another said, who would waste their money to put a K20 in a civic? Well it's popular now...
In my other Subaru community, putting H6s (6 cylinders) in newer Subarus is becoming more popular.
thats only because the Fit dosent have an entire extra means of propulsion. the batteries and electric motor crap weighs quite a bit. if you where to swap in a k20 all of that would be taken out.
