Default 1000cc injectors, rise idle?

i had 550cc injectors saturated, idling at 850. i maxed those out so i got 1000cc injectors p&h. i could not get it to idle right, only at 1200 did i get it to idle right. is that normal? anyone else have that too?

motor is lsvtec if that matters

1000cc injectors will be harder to idle at low/idle rpm without it being extremely rich.

you should have gotten ID1000cc injectors. they idle smooth and you can run them lean enough where it wont stumble/missfire at 14.7:1 or leaner.

For what it's worth, my 1000cc Precision injectors idle pretty smoothly at about 950 RPM. Although I've heard nothing but good things about the Injector Dynamics stuff.

My injectors are precision injectors. I found that running it leaner i was able to run a lower idle, like 16&17s at 950rpm. but when i got it to 15's, it idled good at 1200rpm

thats strange...my 750cc RC's didn't like to idle very smooth at 900rpm unless it was 14:1 or richer.

i switched to 750cc bosch style injectors (similar to what ID sells) and the idle is so much smoother/better and i can run it at 750-800rpm and 15:1 no problem...

is your setup tuned for those 1000cc's? your tuner just needs to spend some more time in the idle portion of the tune to get it to idle lower/smoother.

i am the tuner, lol. it is barely tuned, just good enough to drive around, not good enough to race

My 1000cc precisions idle like a v8 cammin bout 950rpm.....if your lookin at the rpm gauge, it doesn't move much but the sound of the car is similiar to some big cams/Harley or somethin....street tuned on chrome....for now
