i was at a car show and a friend of a friends was selling a obx t4 big turbo, a inline pro Manifold and a ebay waste gate on it. the turbo had no shaft play and was ran for 1500 miles until he took it off to sell the car, he wants 500 for the set up, think thats a legit price or am i paying too much

 

and ill probably be able to push 4 pounds on a stock LS until my low comp motor is done being built.

 

na dont buy it those turbos and wastegates are crap dont know about the manifold..
theres way better deals here on ht just search the classifieds u can get a garrett for around 300 a tial wastegate for around 150 and manifold maybe for 2-300 depending n what u want its a little more but the parts will last longer.

 

id like to know whos selling those manifolds and turbos for that price

 

i bought a brand new ram horn for 400 and its quality is perfect i bought a garrett for 300 a tial for 150 and pieced the rest together and now im making 360 to the wheels on a stock gsr

 

I'm sure you can find better deals than that. Full T4.. what size? you may consider properly sizing the turbo as it may be too big for your application. GL!

 

buy it anyways if turbo blows....buy another obx turbo they are cheap!

 

Stay away from anything OBX.

 

obx is a hit or miss company....sometimes u get a good product....sometimes it only last a hour....

 

inline pro Manifolds are good, the other stuff is crap. Like others said, get something more suitable for your goal. Not a "obx t4 big turbo"

 

inline pro makes legit manifold, the rest of the stuff may or may not work. its the risk you are willing to take. i would rather spend a bit more money on nicer parts that are going to last longer.

 

If your going for the power the a "t4 big power" turbo will provide, going cheap is not an option. look around. I just picked up an upgraded .57 that is in amazing condition for $350, got the manifold in the link below for $250 and im sure you can find a wastegate for $150. Dont buy it just because its being offered. Spend your money wisely and youll get the benefits that come with it.
