Default Fuel issue on brand new built motor

Hey guys, I was about to fire up my new rebuilt B18C and she won't fire up.

It has air, it has spark, it has the right firing order and everything sounds fine when it's cranking.

I have a fuel pressure gauge and that goes up to 42-43psi as it should, I disconnected the line at the rail and there is fuel, the rail is full of fuel and the top of the injectors are wet.

With that said the other side of the injector that goes in the cylinder head is bone dry and so are the spark plugs.

The injectors are OBD1 240CC GSR injectors and I rewired them into my stock d16y7 harness.

I matched wire for wire, everything is soldered and tight.

So it's either an injector issue or wiring issue.

The car uses the same fuel system as with the y7 before and it ran fine.

The changes to the fueling system are:

OBD1 Injectors
GSR Fuel rail
obd1 plugs soldered into the OBD2a harness (matched color for color)

What do you guys think?

bump I am using an OBD2a to OBD1 conversion harness and a Rywire dizzy plug from the obd2a y7 harness to the OBD1 distributor.

Only thing I can think about is grounds maybe?

The entire engine was repainted so I will try and scrape off the grounding points

Going off memory, I think the colors are different for obd1 and obd2 injector wiring arent they?

I'll check those tonight.

I tried my y7 ecu just to see if it would work and no difference.

I will try a spare B16a2 dizzy I have to see if she fires. She won't be happy but it should still fire if it's a dizzy issue.

threw the B16a2 dizzy on there and it seems to "fart" every time it turns over now but still no fuel on the injectors.

I need to look at the injector wiring but am not really feeling well tonight so it might happen tomorrow night.

turns out the obd1 dizzy was bad and all 4 injectors were sticking from not being used in a long long time.

Hitting them with a wrench and running the B16a2 dizzy made the car fire on the first try.

Now I need another obd1 dizzy and some more reliable injectors

So nothing was wrong with the clips? How do you have them wired?

they were all fine:

So the wiring on the injectors is secure, yellow black goes to yellow black on each injector and
4 is yellow
3 is blue
2 is red
1 is brown

as it should be.

Hmmm... I guess I should go switch my clips around to be sure.

One last question. What year is the car?

97 dx that had an obd2a D16y7 and now has an OBD1 B18C1.

I've actually switched the injectors to newer OBD2 versions since I couldn't trust the OBD1 versions. The wiring was exactly the same colors.
