I have a 99 civic si with a swapped jdm b16 and the front end shakes under acceleration, pedal, steering wheel and front wheels, any ideas on what could cause this?

 

How are your motor mounts? New / old and worn?

Mine shakes on take off because I have bad struts. Possibility?

 

Also, what kind of "acceleration" are you speaking of? Just speeding up or launching?

This is a very vague description. It could be anything from motor mounts, axles, even it just being wheel hop.

Please, be more descriptive!

 

I know it's not wheel hop. the shake is under normal driving conditions, the axels are new-ish but I haven't replaced any motor mounts

 

ball joints, suspension bushings.

 

thanks for the info, i'll throw some parts at it and hopefully it'll go away
