Default need bushing type thing for shifter???

i put in a new shifter but now the shifter sometimes falls down farther than its supposed to sit, it makes it difficult to shift, and i have to lift the shifter up to its correct height again to shift correctly. i beleive it is the rubber socket the shifter's ball sits into as i noticed it was broken in half when i installed the new shifter, but i cannot find the part anywhere, all i can find is the bushings for the rods etc. someone help! i believe shifter install articles from company's like energy suspension, etc are calling it the shift extender socket or something like that

it didn't eff up until after I posted it... I checked it before I posted it AND after I posted it but it didn't work after... either way I'm pretty sure its simple enough to click the little arrow and scroll down to "shift lever" and I'm equally sure you were just being a douche nozzle when I was only trying to help
