Default Need help: 93 vx won't start

New dizzy
tried known good relays
tried stock ecu and p72
good fuses, 18, 24 and ecu under the hood(all are not blown)
jumped the pump and it primes

Car was running before it sat for over 2-3 years. What can be the problem? Is it bad ECU? Ground? Should I replaced spark plugs and wires?

Please help!

Replace the plugs and wires. Autozone says you should use the Bosch-Iridium-Fusion / Spark Plug for VX specifically. I was always told to use ngk.....

Why should I replace those items? It cranks but won't start and the pump won't prime unless I jump it.

plugs could be fowled from bad gas, so could injectors and hows your fuel filter doing? it could be clogged too.

I haven't check the fuel filter. Bad plugs, injectors or filter can make the fuel pump not prime?

Do you also lack spark. If so, clean and tighten the ground attached to the thermostat housing.

Did you check fuses 31, 24, and 18 with a test light? Bad fuses don't always look bad.

You need 3 things for combustion. Spark, fuel, and air. Start figuring out what you don't have then work from there.

I've checked the t-stat grounding and it's a little bluish but it's tighten. I'll clean it and re-tighten it and see what happens. I haven't test lighted the fuse. I will do that. Is the fuse #31 the ecu fuse?

Also check for spark at the plugs.

Remove the ground and sand/scrub it clean and then tighten it up.

Yes, fuse 31 is the hood ECU/main relay fuse.

The site below describes how to test fuses:

Thanks everyone. The car is at my friends house with no internet. I'll be back later with the results.

Turns out it was a bad ecu fuse even though it wasn't blown and bad ecu. The car starts but runs like crap and shakes so bad. Also, throwing a code 41(o2 sensor) if I counted correctly. It had 4 slow flash and 1 quick one. So I will double check the code see what it really is. I'll keep you guys updated. Thanks for everyone's help.
