what caused the maintence light to keep flashin but does shut off! whats the main reason that will flash? never did it until tonight! please someone help. i got a 99 acura integra gs with a swaped built ls vtec converted to obd1 and chipped!

how do i reset it? and i changed my oil i run royal purple! i might need to add some! maybe thats why its doing that? i could be low HMMm what u think.

 

Lol all that stuff done to the car and doesn't know how to reset the maintenance light. Don't worry it has nothing to do with your royal purple level.

1. Open glove box
2. Remove plastic wrap from owners manual. (if no manual, skip to #4)
3. Read the god damn manual
4. Google it

 

Its normal for it to blink when its recommended. Theres a small square box under the dash on the drivers side with a button in it. Push and Hold it then turn the key to the car on engine off position until the light turns off. That should reset it.
