Default Maint. Req'd light flashing......

I just did the oil change but need to get the light to stop flashing upon start-up...
Anyone who can tell me where to reset it or how I can make it stop. It was doing this as the oil change reminder....

i know on the 7thgen civ's you put the key in the ignition and turn it to on and hold the push button on the gauge for 10 seconds, then start the car and it should be off. it should say in the back of the owners manual how to reset the light
