My integra won't start! Please Help.
So my car isn't cranking at all. No clicks, nothing. The fuel pump seems to work. The radio works, lights, etc.
I reset my ECU yesterday by unplugging the battery for a few minutes and then starting the car up and letting it idle for a few minutes and then turned it off.
Shortly after, I drove to the gym and back home without any problems, car was running fine. Then I went outside to put my car in the driveway and it didn't start. No clicking, no cranking, nothing. I checked the connection to the starter (because i accidentally unplugged it last time) and that was fine.
Something I noticed when driving home from the gym yesterday was there was a piece of round rubber that was on the floor right below the clutch pedal. Seems like it broke off from somewhere.
Are there any starter interrupter switches, clutch switches that might be the issue? I looked down there and noticed some rubber breaking off on the lower firewall where the clutch seems to press into.
I would appreciate the help. Thanks!
It's a 1990 Integra LS, Manual tranny.

Check the CIS, it is located high up on the clutch, the rubber piece may be the stopper for the switch.
To confirmit is the CIS, do a "bypass jump", connect a lead, [10-12 gauge] to the batt. poss.(+) and touch the other end to the start terminal, [the one that unplugs] on the starter.
BE CAREFULL the engine will crank even if car is in gear and ign. off.
If engine cranks with the bypass the problem is the CIS, or the missing stopper. 94

problem fixed. There are two rubber pieces on the clutch pedal that broke off. The lower one broke off a while ago (which why my cruise control never worked) and the upper one is what I threw out the window yesterday. The upper one pushes the switch when you push down on the clutch pedal.
I reached in there, pushed the button, and the car started. Thanks!

I have similar problem imma check for this. I hope this is what im missing. thanks for pointing towards a solution. Im super stumped. I was about to swap the whole cabin harness.
oh man, u guys are awesome.. my car wouldn't start.. i checked all the usual stuff... battery, terminals, ecu, dizzy, fuel pump.. spark test, ignition, main realy, etc.. my car would start if it was push started..so, i thought it was my starter.. i ordered a new starter and haven't gotten around to installing it yet, when i saw this post... i knew about the button on the break pedal for the tail lights, but not for the clutch.. so, i gave it a shot.. took a while to find it.... i reached under, pushed the button and my car started right up!!!
Anyone wanna buy a starter??.

It seems i have the same problem in a way, but I was wondering which button are you referring to on the clutch? Maybe that is the problem with mine? I have a thread going also about my situation I have a 98 teg LS. Can you lead me in the right direction and telling me how to do the same thing you did? Thanks in advance.
