What should i torque my arp headstuds to? 800hp build!
Ok im ready to drop my head on my motor and the arp headstuds i ordered dont have any torque specs ,i know the oem specs but im not sure if i should go with them because the motor will be seeing 800whp when its done!
its a gsr motor by the ways .
so all you high hp guys what do you have yours torqued to?

the torque spec according to ARP is if i remember correctly " follow the manufacturers reccomended torque steps" then finish with 80 ft. lbs.
ARP studs are tested to withstand tens of thousands of pounds of lateral stress... your 800hp car isnt going to blow your head off the block because your ARP studs are only torqued to spec. when i do my ARP studs, i go 26 then 52 then 80

As mentioned, look up your part number on ARP's website. Too easy.
