Bought a Used t3t4 garrett turbo kit for $750 but how can I tell turbo is not blown?
Last month I just got myself a used t3t4 turbo kit and well, for some reason I feel this thing,.........
is if my turbo actually works or not. I can not test it on the car but I've already bought the components to having it running just need injectors. Is there anyway i can test out the turbocharger to see if it is in good condition? thanks.

Oh ok, but how is this done? Lol. Nvm, I'll just research it what exactly shaft play really refers too. Thanks.
start with shaft play... grabing both ends of the turbin wheel and moving it side to side... a little is ok.
then in and out... any in and out movement = garbage
if the wheel is scrubbing on the inside of the turbin or compressor housing = no go
last but not least... stick your finger in the housing and turbine and check for oil and grease... these are my techniques since i'm cheap and dont want to give it to someone to check... my techniques maybe viewed as rediculous but it works for me, i've bought 4 used turbos before and one verified my technique because it idd come out blown after i checked my way... the others passed my inspections and worked perfectly for as long as i had them
