Walked out to my car today to start it and it started to kick over and then bam stopped i was like uhhhh? what then i poppped the hood to find my starter dangling off the head.... NEAT anyone seen this happen before lol??




the left one is the one that fell off my B18B1 Integra LS and the right one is my new one from a B16 motor courtesy of bettsbanger.

 

Heres the other pic of how we saw it when we opened the hood, i never knew a starter could just break when trying to start the car.

i just ended up giving him my spare starter... and the other day we found a hint of antifreeze in the oil. so thats pretty exciting, we're just probably going to rebuild the motor hopefully in time for our local drag events on the 22nd.
