91 hatch radio install odd problem
okay i have a 91 hatch with the stock wiring for the radio. im trying to install a cheap JVC aftermarket radio in the car. i plug in the harness and wire it according to the instructions and colors. when i put the car in ACC mode all i get is the eject to work for 1 second and nothing else. when i start the car nothing works.... i dont understand it? what am i doing wrong.
just becuase there the same colour dosnt mean there the same thing on top of the stock honda radio should be a diagram of what wire does what ( atleast my 91 accord did) then just connect them accordingly btw the headunit wire harness should say what each wire does
but i hope u get it all done and also if it just shuts off make sure theres no lose wire becuase if theres one show threads it touchs metal it will just shut ur radio off

Make sure connections are good and insulated, [as mentioned] check the fuses, there are two of them, an ACC. fuse, usually in under dash fuse box, a constant power fuse, usually in engine bay fuse box.
There is also the possibility the "cheap JVC aftermarket radio" is DOA. 94
