well your best bet is to search. There is a lot of information on z6 turbo builds. Also, for future reference, the forced induction forum is the best place for these questions as well as getting you lots of information.

what kind of power are you looking to make? stock d can usually hand around 220-240 hp on stock block with a GOOD tune. There a numerous amount of places to get forged pistons from but i would recomend eagle for you rods! If you have the money its worth the money to build the bottom end!

I dont rev past 8 on the stock valve springs on my b16, not sure about a d though

as long as you stick to stock rpm range(7200 redline on a z6) then you shouldnt need to upgrade anything on your valvetrain. if it were my build i would DEFINITELY upgrade pistons AND rods.....id probly go with eagle......their parts are very good quality and reasonably priced, but their finish machine work is not the best so if you decide to go that way, make sure and have them checked/fixed by a machine shop. i would definitely upgrade your injectors, you dont want to run your injectors above 80% duty cycle, and boost means more air, and more air means more fuel. with 10-15psi i wouldnt use pistons that give you more than stock compression ratio(9.2:1) but i also wouldnt want much, if any, less compression than stock..........so that when you ARENT in boost, you still have a peppy Z6. i also would use a small-medium size turbo for quick spooling.....which is better as a daily driver.

Eagle H beams, Vitara pistons and a nice turbo setup will get ya close to the 300whp range. Search vitara setups and see what others have run and proven to work. My buddies vitara D on stock sleeves and a mild cam made 325whp at 20psi. daily driven.

QFT

also dont set your goals by PSI, set it by whp. you could boost 15psi with a small turbo and only be a little over 200whp but at 15psi with a larger turbo be around 400whp. Thats why you need to pick a whp goal and choose a turbo taht will get you there.
