I used 4 gauged worked fine, but make sure you fuse main 4 gauge from front to back to be on the safe side. Good luck Oh almost forgot it's pretty easy.

If you look on the engine bay at the top left you will see fuse holder hope this helps.

Its simple. pick up some 4 gauge wire, cut off your old positive cable, tie the new 4 gauge into where the factory wire came from, then run it to the trunk with a fuse somewhere in a clean, hidden, easy to get to location. Mount the battery in desired location, ground it to the frame. Hide a few more ground wires coming off the block and your done.

Interesting billet tie down setup.
Im thinking about ditching mine aswell.
anybody know of a carbon fiber~ish type of battery tie down?

Will 4 gauge from home depot work?
It has only a few really thick wires as opposed to lots of thin strands

Just notch a few holes into the floor fir the tie hooks to grab onto.
Or buy a regular battery relocation kit that comes with a battery tray.

Just some extra info about the battery wire.
I would highly recommend using good quality wire with a high amount of strands, this helps current flow. Also, using 0 or 2 gauge would be more efficient and reduce voltage drop better than say 4 gauge.

Here is a link, near the bottom there is a calculator to see the difference in gauge and the effect it has at different lengths.

Well it's not unsafe as long as you vent the box. Car batteries use an electrolyte which is a mixture of sulfuric acid and water. The acid is highly corrosive and is harmful to you and even your clothes. Also since batteries emit hydrogen while charging, the battery case cannot be completely sealed, batteries have small vents on the side of the cover. I would use a battery box that either has a vent hole and tube, or make your own hole and run a tube from the box to the chassis. If you cut a small hole (1/2"-3/4" diameter) near the box in the chassis, use a grommet and run your battery box vent tube down it, the fumes will be sucked out the tube while driving (when most of the fumes are created).

Just remember to read up on track rules if you all plan on racing. You will likely need a cut-off switch.

I doubt it. unless you like to drive with the windows up 100% of the time.
I drive mine @ the most 20 min. ( well last year, its non op right now )

but yet again, what honda owner drives with his windows up? lol

I'm going to switch over to an odyssey battery soon anyways.

If you put your battery inside the car you really need a vented box. You can get any number of options from Jeg's or Summit Racing. Also, You MUST fuse the battery at the battery's location. If you have a battery in your trunk it must run right into a fuse in your trunk. If an unfused line runs all the way to the engine bay & it shorts out before the fuse, it will turn into a 10 foot flaming cable setting your interior on fire. Guess how I know?
