when a cel appears and i jump the 2 wire connector the cell just goes away it doesnt blink, my old s300 would read the codes y wont this one?

if you hook up a laptop you can read the codes.

anyone know what the problem is?

 

Make sure the service connector isn't setup as an input switch in the calibration.
Update the software & create a new calibration, the cel should function normal through the service connector with the latest firmware/software.

 

Also make sure that you have the knock sensor disabled if you have an ECU that does not have knock circuitry.

 

I have a p28 and knock is disabled, im on the lastest software and where do I find out about the service connector in the program?
