Yes, that is normal for an ecu that is over 15 years old :-)

It crazy when you realize how old these computers are getting.

It looks perfectly normal. Was there anything wrong with the ECU to make you open it up and inspect?

It keeps bogging out. Misfiring. I took out the stock ignition coil and installed my MSD in. Drove good for a while but today its starting to act up again. Do you think I might need to replace the Ignition module too?

Did you try disabling the S300 to verify the stock side?
If you're experiencing circuit component deterioration there's always a chance a few solder locations could be questionable. You might want to look over it again before you start replacing things, and do a pinout test for shats & giggles.

i dont know how to go about disabling the s300. i cant run it without my tuned map because i have skunk2 pro 1 cams in it. its gotten really bad to where i cant even start it up without having the motor bog n run rich. anychance the O2 sensor might be doing this? the s300 is not reading/detecting any error codes. :S

Try disabling the o2 in S manager and see how it runs

could be. I might just go back to oem injectors and ditch the 310's. Might replace the fuel pump too. It started ever since i put in Lucas injector cleaners and some isoheet into it.

verify it running rich with a WB02 meter first before going out and buying needless parts and just shotgunning the problem. Use the S300 as the tool that it is and diagnose your problem then replace the parts you have.

How do the plugs look after a start? Are they wet or very black? Do you have any misfires? Are they severe or just faint pop every now and again? Start with those items.
Double check all you ignition connections that you have made for tightness and or corrosion. In S manager is your timing jumping all over the place, or is the cell tracer moving around to a couple boxes all the time or sitting still at idle?

You have alot you can look at before just buying parts that may not fix the problem.

Plugs look very black. I have a lot of misfires and bogging. Mostly faint. I just replaced the distributor. It ran good for like 3days then it started to do it again.

How do you hook up the WB02 to the s300 and have it calibrate and drive tune itself?
