I no i no a s300 in a p28 is a good way to go for my b20 vtec turbo that im building for my 92' eg BUT... I was offered a p08 s300j at a VERY good price but im not sure if it will be good to run that on the 450-500+hp set-up that im building for my eg
thanks for any help
thanks for any help
The S300j is just as good as the regular S300. The only real difference is you can't use the PWM output to control boost with the Hondata boost controller. The JDM ecu's don't have the pwm circuitry on the ECU board.

Well that sucks... that was one of the main reasons i liked about the s300. So your saying i would need to get a external boost controller if i got this P08 s300j ??
Either way you'd need an external boost controller. I'm just saying that with the s300j you can't use the pwm output and boost control capabilities within the Hondata system.
