Ok, im new to honda/acuras Ive had vw's my whole life so I thought I can have some fun with hondas. Heres the problem I every gear hot or cold the car will hesitate below about 3k rpms. Above 3k rpms the car runs perfect there are no codes or anything. I just got the car about a month ago with this problems but, I thought it was because the valves had a really bad tap. I fixed the tap by just adjusting them but the problem did not go away. I had the car idling and pulled the wires off one by one to see if was a spark problem but, every one I pulled off the car dropped in idle. Which leads me to think its soemthing else. Im not fimilar with common problems of honda so, What should I check. Oh its a 97 LS.

 

How well does it start up and idle? I know when I first did my timing belt I was a tooth off and it was hard to start and idled just fine until I tried to drive it. It was hard to get it up to 3000rpm but once I did, it drove just fine.

 

Start perfect every time idles a little low to me. like 650 rpm but, it dosent idle rough at all.
