94 jdm gsr (about 57k miles)
Things I've replaced:
new accel Spark plug wires custom set
new msd cap and rotor
new msd blaster ss coil
new starter
new alternator
took to dealership two months ago same issue and they put a new igniter in the distributer and the problem returned

I took out the spark plugs cylinder 2 3 and 4 all had orange rust color on tip of insulator. Cylinder one spark plug looked like wet black all
over fuel I believe. car misfires and battery just dies from it sitting. before it was just when I hit wot and now it misfires all the time. I'm replacing the plugs but why the bad colors on the spark plugs. Thinking about getting a stock cap and rotor and new stock dizzy and zing out the external msd coil setup. Car has a 70 mm intake manifold and throttle body and I just adjusted and installe brand new tps sensor. Oh and I checked obd1 codes and there were none. Also car check engine light flashes brighter by throttle position but no codes.

 

sounds like head gasket.

 

i had the same problem with the dieing battery i had a bad - gound on my battery

 

why the 70mm TB on a stock gsr?
