Default ignition coil: stock vs upgraded internal

so i searched and no results...so what is better to use, stock vs an accel high ouput. ive heard of some poeple having good reviews with the accel, and others didnt notice anything.

i just bought a new coil and my spark cuts out and i start missfiring at 6500. so should i buy an oem replacement or an accel one?

I just replaced mine with an Accel. I didn't notice any difference, but since it was $20 cheaper than an OEM coil, I'd go with it.

What condition are your plug wires, cap, and rotor in? If the spark energy cannot be dissipated easily, you'll short out the coil pretty fast.

Ive always done wires every other plug change unless im having ignition issues... also if you have no idea when they were changed... change them
