so i just installed a greddy turbo kit on my 08 civic si and wen i 1st started it up and step on the gas petal it smokes white/blue and its crazy amount. i also let the car run for lioe 20 mins and still smokes..im think the turbo seals are bad but there is no shaft play is that possible..oil feed and return lines are fine only thing is car isnt tuned yet and will be tuned on flash pro do u guys think that could be the problem? i also check plugs no oil so its not the motor. my tuner said he took it down the block and it smoked bad so he said turbo is blown what do u guys think?

 

Did you buy the kit used?

 

yup bought the kit used..guy told me everyting was fine but then again he could be lying his *** off..my only guess is bad turbo seal.
but wanted to see what everyone thought was..could it be that is not tuned? its alot of white blueish smoke highly doubt a tune could fix that.

 

Sounds to me like the seals are bad.
