Default smoking? could it be from the turbo?

My car is smoking (white) really bad. each time i drive it, it gets worse. I swapped in a rebuilthead and it still does it. The bottom was just rebuilt about 5000 miles ago. I have weisco pistons with the rest of the parts stock. I am only running 10lbs. The rest of the car is tunned as far as the fuel etc.etc. I saw some oil on the turbo around the housing. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Wayne

I just replaced the head gasket about 1 hour ago and it still smokes and getting worse. I let the car run for about 30 min, then I took it for a ride. Thats why I noticed the oil on the turbo cause i had just sprayed it off

If your turbo seals were bad there would be oil in the charge pipes.

its white smoke, I was thinkng about unbolting the turbo and starting it to see if smoke comes out the manifold. its loosing oil about 1 quart every 100 miles.

there is oil leaking from seams where the elbow bolts to the turbo that leads to the down pipe. I had the mnifold off today and didn't see any oil in it. I also cheked the charge piping and didn't see any oil. does this sound fromilliar to any one?

hmm...strange that its white smoke...but it could still be oil burning....check your turbo for shaft play...second, check for oil on the exhaust side of the turbo.

well I've noticed that when its alot of oil getting thrown into the exhaust, it creates white smoke. I actually have oil in my exhaust tip.

i can see oil leaking from the joint from the down pipe and exhaust elbow on the turbo too. What if the oil drain line is kinked, could that back the oil out the exhaust? I did just change that line about a week ago. I beleive that might be it.
