Icon2 Crunching sound from the clutch pedal?

Everytime I press the clutch pedal in all the way I hear and feel a crunch. I originally thought it was that plastic bumper on the firewall but its not. anyone got a clue? its anoying as hell.

My car was doing that before and its back again. When it was under warraty the dealership replaced the clutch slave cylinder, that seemed to take care of the problem but a year later its back again. My friends Si did the same thing he took it in and they replaced the clutch pedal that took care of his problem. So Im thinking the noise is coming from the point at which those two componets meet. Im going to try and grease up the small pin that holds slave cylinder to the pedal. Hopefully that helps

Check or try it might be as lil as putting lube spray where the piston rod goes into the clutch master and appling it in that area while pressing the peddle I just bought a used 2008 Si which had that issue, I've notice it through out my career let me know if that helps ?

I had some issues with my clutch squeaking while releasing when temps were above 65f. I took it back to the dealership the first time and they just tried applying some lube. A week later the noise was back. Took it back up there and they replaced the whole clutch. They explained that these new clutches have a contained part that is supposed to stay lubed throughout it's life, contained as in you can't apply more lube to this particular part if it goes bad, so they whole thing had to go.
