Default CRV-Tec or CRV Non Vtec for Boost??

Ok Maybe there's a thread out there about this but I don't know where it is.. I want to get a CRV Engine Block and Rather put a Non Vtec DOHC Head on it For Boost instead of a Vtec Head on it... I'm thinking since I want it for Boost it may be easier to tune the engine wit a non Vtec head than to have to tune it wit a Vtec head plus boost.. Does anyone have an opinion on this?? does it make sense or not?? plus which Non Vtec Head would be Best for it if I go that route?? By the way I have a '96 EK Sedan...

Just run a str8 B20 for less headache... You can still make good power and put down the times that you want...

There are gonna be a million opinions on whether to put the vtec head on there... Yes its good for more power... But reliability issues will start arising when you wanna start revving above the factory b20 limit...

B20+piston/rod+properly sized turbo is good for 350whp and low 12s in your sedan... Good luck
