i just got done swappen a ls in my ef and it won't start i checked all my wirein twice and i still can't figure it out.It will turn over and try to start. it has fuel and spark.It will start for like 5 sec. but then it falls.need help if can thanks

 

Timing and/or Valve lash.

I adjusted valves once (while not thinking) and turned the crank CLOCKwise while adjusting all the valves. This royally screwed up the adjustments and it ran like hell for a few seconds and then cut off.

Check your timing, you may be way off on your timing. Adjust your distributor to advance/retard the timing light to get to TDC.

k but the only thing is that i drove the car that i took the motor out of for about 5-6 months and it was great runnig motor then i droped it and had it in my hatch in 2 days and now its doing this...but thanks alot man
