why does my cluster read hot

Post why does my cluster read hot

my 96 ek has a 16 motor n when we turn on the car it goes to hot in 2-4 mins.. i replaced the radiator but its still hot n we flushed it. the feed n radiator is hot but the coolant isnt hot at all while on for 2-4 mins@running temp? could it be the cluster isnt calibrated or my thermostat? help me ht!

oh man, dude pressure test the system, find leak, fix leak, problem solved. or figure out if your electric system is working, such as cooloing fan. make sure it's turning on. if all that checks out, then i would say maybe you have an issue with your cluster, kinda un likely though.

well considering a thermostat is only like 5 bucks, try that to see if it works, if not, then you're only out of 5 dollars. then its probably a leak somewhere if not your thermostat, is your car idling okay?? if it sounds rough then it might be your headgasket. just as long as you're car isnt using alot of coolant, its most likely a simple fix such as a hose leak or thermostat
