EK Civic Cooling Problems, pls HELP!!!!
Heres the deal, I rear ended someone and have been rebuilding my car. I installed a brand new fluidyne radiator new hoses thermostat, I replaced the wiring harness etc.... Basically the rad fan will not turn on and I checked the fuses the relays, and the thermostat. My temp gauge goes to hot 10 seconds after I turn on the car. I bled the cooling system, My AC compressor and fan are not hooked up yet, but I don't think that could be the problem. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

If your car is getting hot that fast, its probably your tempurature sensor thats bad.

your gauge cluster could be fucked up...i remember in my old hatch i had a cluster in which the temp would suddenly go all the way up to "H" and stay there. I thought it was my thermostat, when i replaced it it didnt fix the problem. Later i changed the cluster and then it was fine.

heres something to check
theres a temp sensor on the housing of the thermostat..jump the connector and it should turn on; if it does, it could be the sensor

if your fan won't turn on, try hooking the fan up during to the battery to see if it spins. if not, try replacing the fan switch.
