Default 2 cylinders low compression

left to right 215-210-100-90
bent valve?jumped time?
It would run in limp mode,real weird.got to get the comp fixed first i know.any tips to pul the head.This is a jdm h22a swapped 99 civic
I have a leak down tester

Gotta do a leakdown test to see what the problem is, but the most common problem is valves. Before pulling the head after the leakdown test, check the valve adjustment first.


If it's cylinder 1&4 or cylinders 2&3, chances are the timing belt broke sometime in the car's history.

Im gonna do a leakdown its 1 and 2 that r low,the belt is nice and tight

anyone else?Any good p&p guys that work cheap?Just want a good n/a build

If its 1/2 maybe its a head gasket. do a leak down test first and watch where the air escapes from. Then we can help you more.
