Default Help me diagnose my bogging. Car runs fine when temp gauge is at halfway.

The car sat for a year and I've already done the following...

-replaced the fuel filter
-change oil and replaced filter
-replaced tps
-reburnt a new chip

Symptoms...

-bogging at 3450-5600 rpms
-partial break up at partial throttle
-complete cutoff at full throttle
-only runs decent when all the way warm
-no check engine lights
-horrible gas mileage

I've been trying to diagnose this problem for a while now. But just now realized that when the car's temp guage gets about half way up (about the hottest it will get) it seems to pull all the way through the RPM band with little or no hesitation.

The car had an upped gsr map and I thought the data may have become corrupt. We reburnt a a FACTORY gsr map on to the chip but I'm still getting the same problem. Once the rpm band gets up around 3450 it starts to cut in and out, this includes bogging, false signals, horrible gas mileage, ect. (not fuel but something electrical)

Someone once hinted around that have could have been a fuel pump but I doubt that's the problem, i had the entire fuel system checked out by a reputable tuner here in town.. The only way I can get a run in up top is if I force down shift it into vtec or wait till it gets all the way warm.

They were thinking that my ecu itself is bad, but then again my wiring going to the ecu is a little hacked up. The cluster shows no check engine lights. One more thing, I can run only 2 wide open throttle gears, usually 3rd and 4th. At the very end of 4th the car falls out of vtec and all power.

I would really love some help with this. I really just wish it was a simple cel and I could replace whatever sensor was bad but I just can't figure it out.

that's pretty much what I've been told... I've tried alot here in the past few weeks to try and find someone locally that would swap with me for a couple runs but haven't had any luck... I'll more than likely just buy one.
