hi guys. i am new to this forum. 2 weeks back i bought a eg8 1992 vtec e manual. on that car i am getting white and black smoke togather. same time acceleration is almost dead. my ek3 exi engine works more power than the vtec. so my garage person told me my piston rings are gone... he didnt do any test or any thing... and he said that those smokes coming cos of that piston ring failure.

b4 ibuy those stuffs i need to make sure i it correct or not.. because in sri lanka its kind of very expensive.

please help me how do i make a test whether those piston ring are gone or not... maximum speed i can run is up to 90 km/h.. which i have to run more than 20 secs to go to that speed. if piston ring is not the issue wat will it be the issue for the car.
