99 H22 SWAPPED CIVIC OBD1 CODE 14 & 21
So i got a 99 ex with a jdm h22 obd1 swapped. The car ran great but now i got the cel lights on and im trying to get the car lined out.The car ran great at one time so im leaning toward a sensor bad.The code 14 was all that was wrong with it but after changing all kinds of parts from a friends h22 prelude i got the 21 now.Revs to 4800 then cuts/bogs out.I know there is a small tb vac leak but it shouldnt make it run that bad would it?Where is the pinout sheet i need, any links?
i cleaned out the iscs and it lookded new inside,it idels fine, just dont rev-its in limp mode!

Code 14 is for the EACV valve that is bolted to the front of the intake plenum that helps the engine have a steady idle, seems these and the FIV can sometimes be bad on imported engines, mine were even form HMO. Code 21 is a problem in the spool valve circuit which is why you have no VTEC, check the connection and if it's good remove the VTEC solenoid and clean the screen out that the oil runs through. If you still get code 21 then the spool valve might need to be replaced.
